  I am a biogeochemist studying the seasonal to decadal variability of phytoplankton biomass and the underlying physical-biogeochemical mechanisms, through remote sensing mainly: from  regional approaches (island mass effect) to global scale. 

I am also investigating deep learning approaches to reconstruct ocean color long time-series.
